Terms and conditions for vendors

1. Role of Callbeba

Callbeba Kenya provides a technology platform for vendors to list products and receive orders from customers. Callbeba Kenya is not the seller of vendor catalogue items unless clearly stated. Contracts for goods and delivery are between the vendor and the customer. Callbeba Kenya is not a party to those sales except as platform operator and may assist with support or dispute facilitation.

2. Listing, prices and accuracy

• Vendors must list accurate names, prices (in Kenya Shillings unless stated), availability and descriptions.
• Photos should represent the product fairly. Misleading listings may be removed.
• Vendors are responsible for compliance with laws applying to their goods (including age-restricted products such as liquor where applicable).

3. Fees, payment periods and renewals

• Vendors pay platform fees as published in the vendor panel (currently an onboarding fee with promotional access, then monthly subscription amounts and days are set by Callbeba and shown at payment).
• Access continues only while subscription status is active after Callbeba confirms payment.
• Fee changes will be communicated in the vendor panel or by notice; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new fees where permitted by law.

4. Cancellation and refunds (platform fees)

• Vendors may stop renewing at the end of a paid period. Early cancellation does not automatically create a refund of fees already confirmed, unless required by law or agreed in writing by Callbeba.
• Duplicate or clearly erroneous payments may be reviewed on request with proof.
• Product refunds between customer and vendor are handled by the vendor under applicable consumer law; Callbeba may help relay messages but does not guarantee refunds of product money held by vendors.

5. Prohibited listings

Vendors must not list illegal goods, stolen goods, counterfeit items sold as genuine, content that exploits minors, or services that violate Kenyan law. Callbeba may remove listings and suspend accounts that breach this rule.

6. Suspension and termination

Callbeba may suspend or terminate vendor access for non-payment, fraud, serious customer harm, illegal listings, or material breach of these terms. Vendors may contact hello@callbeba.co.ke to discuss a suspension.

7. Orders and delivery

Vendors are responsible for fulfilling accepted orders, setting honest operating hours, maintaining a correct shop GPS pin, and communicating delays. Delivery arrangements and fees are as set by the vendor and shown in the order flow.
